To summarize, it should take advantage of EVERY feature available in MUGEN in order to make it as accurate to the UNL version as is possible with the MUGEN engine. In the Mugen port (to compete with standard fighter characters also on Mugen) the damage of each attack needs to be taken up a few notches. One thing I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want ported to Mugen from the UNL original version of this character (or any other char from any Touhou fighter) is the notorious "hit'm with everything you got, and they still have half their health left" type of attack system that look HECKA POWERFULL, but aren't nearly that powerful (some supers are only 2 or 3 times as strong as a weak standard attack). Special attacks which would use magic in UNL must do so in the MUGEN port (and use the same amount of magic) as well. Like in UNL, blocking by shielding must drain magic.ĭashing must automatically parry projectiles, just as in UNL. Magic bar recharging must occur at the same rate as in UNL. Must include a graphical interface for the cards and magic power bar that looks identical to that in UNL, and should in fact should be built using UNL ripped graphics. Must implement "charged" attacks where the attack by tapping the button is a weaker version than if held for a fraction of a second, and after the charging time the full attack automatically fires. Must implement an attack card system which behaves exactly as it did in UNL (one button switches cards, the other activates them, and some attack cards require several other cards in reserve, and make sure the number of reserve cards needed for a given attack in MUGEN matches the number needed for the same attack in UNL). Must use the exact same control scheme as in UNL (if QCF+WeakAttack produces Projectile A in UNL, then it must also do so in the MUGEN port, and then no other button combo than QCF+WeakAttack should produce this attack unless this was the case for her in UNL). Must use all the sounds from this character in the UNL sound rip (and in the correct animations as they were used in UNL), and no user created sound effects. Must NOT use a graphics program to make user designed edits to ripped sprites. Must NOT add any user designed sprites or user designed animations, or user defined attacks or other moves. Must use EVERY animation (attacks, movements, jumps, etc) from UNL Utsuho Must use EVERY sprite on the UNL Utsuho sprite sheet, and use them for the correct animation frames. I want someone to make a UNL based Utsuho character which is basically a MUGEN port of the character. So looks like time for a char creation request. My UNL Utsuho skills are COMPLETELY USELESS as ALL FOUR of the Utsuho's currently available don't handle AT ALL like their UNL counterpart. I've practiced up on UNL so that when I played MUGEN using UNL characters I'd have the skills needed to kill other MUGEN characters. In the Mugen port (to compete with standard fighters) the damage of each attack needs to be taken up a few notches. One thing I don't want from ported to Mugen frim the UNL origal version of this character (or any other char from any Touhou fighter) is the notorious "hit'm with everything you got, and they still halve half their health left" type of attack system that have look HECKA POWERFULL, but aren't nearly that powerful (some supers are only 2 or 3 times as strong as a weak standard attack). "special attack" meter, blocking uses "breakable" shield who's strength is tied to the "special attack" meter, "dash to deflect projectiles", and "super/hyper attack" card system implemented successfully and as accurate to UNL as is possible with the Mugen engine Has projectile, melee attack, and movement (walking/running) speeds nearest the original game Uses all the same attacks as original game, and does NOT invent new attacks in the Mugen port of the character Uses ripped sprites and NOT homemade sprites Which is the most accurate to the original game Unthinkable Natural Law? By accurate I mean in terms of:īutton assignments to each attack same as those in UNL
